College football generates more data than most fans ever get to see and most of what's out there either sits behind a paywall or gets reduced to a single number that doesn't tell the whole story.
CFB Data Hub was built to change that. The goal is simple: make college football analytics accessible, transparent, and actually useful, whether you're a casual fan trying to understand why your team's record doesn't match how they've played, or a numbers person who wants to dig deeper than the box score.
Every chart and rating on this site is built on publicly available data, open methodology, and a belief that better analysis shouldn't cost anything to access.
SER is the core metric powering the ratings and rankings on this site. Rather than treating all yards and points equally, SER measures how efficiently a team moves the ball and scores relative to where each drive starts and adjusted for the strength of opponents faced.
The full methodology is broken down on the Model Explainer page.
All game, drive, and team data is sourced from the College Football Data API (CFBD) a free, community-maintained API that has been invaluable to this project. If you build anything with CFB data, it's worth checking out.
